Conference and symposium are similar events where speakers come together to give their opinions on membrane structures.
Symposium can be described as a smaller conference that is often held in a single day with a lesser number of delegates.
At a "Seminar" lecturers present a concept and technique to discuss with participants.
At a "Workshop" all the elements of a seminar are included plus "hands-on" eg. physical modelling or even 1:1 models.
